My Approach
Your story matters more than any diagnosis. I start by truly hearing what you bring — without agenda, without judgment.
I draw from CBT, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed approaches — not because they're popular, but because they work. And I'll explain why I'm choosing each one for you.
Therapy isn't a race. Some days we'll do heavy lifting. Other days, showing up is the achievement. Both are valid.
About
I've spent over fifteen years walking alongside people during some of their most difficult chapters. My practice is rooted in the belief that healing happens in relationship — and that the therapist-client connection is the single strongest predictor of progress.
I earned my master's degree in counseling psychology and have since worked in community mental health, private practice, and hospital settings. This breadth has given me a pragmatic, flexible approach — one that honors both the science of therapy and the humanity of the person sitting across from me.
When I'm not in the office, you'll find me hiking the Berkshires, reading, or losing track of time in a bookshop. I believe a good life — one with space for joy, stillness, and honest connection — is the foundation from which all therapeutic work grows.
